You have selected to Follow the Tradition to complete your quests and earn your XP. Following the Tradition simply means you are interested in maintaining a fairly normal/traditional path as far as reaching your final destination (your grade). I have charted this path for you. You do not have to do any thinking in terms of trying to figure out what you need to do to get an H or a P. Simply do all assignments that do not have an * next to them and follow the due dates on the course schedule.
Note: Failure to meet the minimum requirements for any quest will result in you being unable to achieve the maximum XP listed. XP earned will be based on what you accomplished. For example, if your blog post contained roughly half of the minimum words you could expect to receive around 250 XP.

Translating XP Into an Actual Grade
There are two different approaches to earning your grades in this class, and there are very slight differences. If you choose to lead an in-class discussion around Moment of the Week, you will not earn as many XP as someone who does a video. However, this does not effect your grade. If you selected to do an in-class discussion you just have fewer possible XP to earn. You are not penalized for this.
Track One
Use these guidelines if you lead an in-class discussion for Moment of the Week
H=27,540-30,600 XP
P= 21,420-27,539 XP
L= 21,419-0 XP
Track Two
Use these guidelines if you created a video for Moment of the Week
H= 27,810-30,900 XP
P=21,630-27,809 XP
L = 21,629-0 XP
I have highlighted for you a clear path to get an H. In configuring how much XP earns an H, P, etc...anything not marked with an asterisk (*) is used as the basis. However, you can continue on and earn additional XP in some assignments. Any quest marked with an * is additional, optional, XP earning potential. I will count this towards your grade. However, you can choose to skip anything marked with an * and it will not hurt your grade AND you can still get an H grade in the course. This means you could exceed the upper-end of what I have marked for an H grade should you choose to complete additional quests.
Additional opportunities to earn XP may be added over the semester, but completing them will be optional. Skipping them will not have a negative effect on your grade
Note: Failure to meet the minimum requirements for any quest will result in you being unable to achieve the maximum XP listed. XP earned will be based on what you accomplished. For example, if your blog post contained roughly half of the minimum words you could expect to receive around 250 XP.
